The Libyan Children will Face a Man-Made Disaster by Design

News:

On the 14th of September, UNICEF reported that nearly 300,000 children have been affected in Libya after Storm Daniel devastated entire cities. Two dams bursting resulted in catastrophic flooding of the areas in the water flow path. Beyond the immediate risks of death and injury, the severe floods in Libya put children at increased risk of waterborne diseases, displacement and loss of essential services. The thousands that have died will not be the only fatalities to be counted. The post-disaster effects are predicted to impact the thousands of women and children left with no clean water or basic services.

Comment:

The BBC have reported that the current situation on the ground is so desperate that the few locals left in the area are digging for the buried in the dark with their bare hands. Drone footage shows complete removal of entire villages and bodies are being washed up onto the shore daily.

The area is said to have little international aid or support as it has been deemed, “hard to get to”. However the Muslims of the region know only too well that when invasions of any of the area of Muslim land were needed for colonial advancement of interests, there was never any shortage of access to regions with masses of infrastructure, military persons and resources.

The key issue of betrayal is the millions of dollars in military equipment and soldiers in the surrounding Muslims lands that, almost a week later have made zero movement to help their brothers and sisters and little innocent children in lands of Islam.

Whilst trillions of dollars are spent in building cities in the sands of Saudi, these same workers and resources are denied to the Libyan Ummah due to the nationalism and divided rules of the masters of our rulers. We can only expect children and the newborns in Libya to face greater threat of death and disease from the neglect of those that have a duty to move into action.

The Khalifah (Caliph) of the sincere leadership under the Khilafah (Caliphate) would never accept such a diabolical shame! What if Umar Ibn Al Khattab (ra) was here? We cannot imagine this in his time. But surely we are indeed living the Hadith of the worst of men leading this Ummah and we must reverse this before the next man-made or natural disaster strikes this Ummah.

[وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ أُولَٰئِكَ أَصْحَابُ الْجَنَّةِ هُمْ فِيهَا خَالِدُونَ]

“And those who believe and do righteous good deeds, they are dwellers or paradise, they will dwell therein forever.” [2:82]
