Managing Fake News on the Hardest Place to be Muslim Women

News:

An online news publication “Fair Planet” reported that there are three countries that were the most difficult places to be a Muslim woman. The three listed are: Saudi Arabia, Iran and Afghanistan. The reasoning was quoted as the following;

“From restrictions on education and employment to denying fundamental human rights, these countries present a stark reality for millions of women. Islamic principles govern the legal system in countries where Sharia law holds sway. While it dictates various aspects of life, including personal conduct, family matters, criminal law and economic transactions, its implementation disproportionately impacts women's rights and freedoms in several countries. Sharia law varies in interpretation across different countries, leading to unique legal systems with varying degrees of severity. In some countries, it has become a tool to perpetuate inequality and restrict women's freedoms. The system made headlines recently in Afghanistan when the Taliban banned women from “hearing other women’s voices.”

But where is Sharia law particularly harsh on women? From restrictions on education and employment opportunities to limited access to healthcare and denying fundamental human rights, these countries present a stark reality for millions of women.

Comment:

The attacks on the Islamic way of life and ideological viewpoint in the article represent the typical cheap and overused verbiage that the orientalists, colonialists and enemies of history have used to give some moral equivalence to the Western culture.

Is the ban on Hijab in democracies like France, not a “severe” systemic legal consequence?

Are the women arrested, tortured and murdered in the war in terror and the supported puppet ruler in our lands an example of “denying fundamental human rights,”?

The children buried and burnt alive in their homes, and the bombing of schools and universities in Gaza are clearly “restrictions on education" organised by the champions of “women's rights”.

The fact is such articles are but smoke and mirrors attempt to conceal the very same crimes against Muslim women that are spoken of.

In a classic case of the pot calling the kettle black, these same liberal commentators act like their own women have abandoned feminism because their situation is so excellent.

The fact is, feminism is alive and well because there is an ever-continuing need for every generation of women to complain and fight for their rights.

The truth is Islam never had a women’s rights movement because true Sharia implementation allowed Muslim and non-Muslim women to be given their human rights as a matter of norm as it was the Khalif's (caliph) responsibility.

None of the above-named countries are Islamic authorities and have no place represented as such. They are an example of Capitalist mixed-up models of oppression that were designed by the Democracies that criticise them.

We must assume more of these attacks as the weakening Western facade of fake power crumbles and more desperate attempts to cling to an image of capitalist success unfold.

However, we must never forget that Allah (swt) has made Islam superior to rule over all other ways of life. The only question is, how have we done our role to make this happen?

“They want to extinguish the light of Allah with their mouths, but Allah will perfect His light, although the disbelievers dislike it.” [As-Saf:8]
