There is no Apology that can Replace the Violation of a Muslimah

Lawyers for three Muslim women who were harassed by the ex-husband of the U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene have reached a settlement over the incident of verbal harassment whilst they prayed in public. The incident, captured on the Muslim holiday of Eid ul Fitr, shows Greene shouting offensive remarks at a group of women wearing hijabs from a Tesla Cybertruck, sparking widespread outrage. Greene has previously publicly and privately apologised for his statements and said he hoped the women would forgive him. $75,000 was awarded in “damages”.

Comment:

The pressure to avoid media backlash is always the motivating factor in such “apology” responses. If there was a sincere alignment or support for Islamic values, there would not have been an incident of harassment in the first place.

We always see the same people supporting murder and starvation of the Muslim ummah in the global campaigns across the world. They have no shame in calling themselves supporters of the enemies of Islam.

We know they feel free to express hate and destruction for the Islamic values and political solutions. They know well there is no power coming to the aid of Muslims, the best they can do is to create harm with minimal consequences to their personal interests.

These sisters are noble to give the $75,000 in compensation as sadaqah to their local mosque, but their children will not have any security whilst the Khilafah is absent.

Mosques are not the guardian of the affairs of the Ummah according to the teaching of the Prophet (saw). There was an ability for Muslims to pray in public in Mecca and yet the command was given to make Hijrah to Medina to establish an authority to enforce the Islamic system in full. We know well the dangerous levels of physical and verbal attacks the Muslims of the past suffered at the hands of the Qurayshe tribes, but they are noble different to the tyrant of today!

We must respond now as the Quran advised then;

[وَالَّذِينَ هَاجَرُوا فِي اللَّهِ مِن بَعْدِ مَا ظُلِمُوا لَنُبَوِّئَنَّهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَلَأَجْرُ الْآخِرَةِ أَكْبَرُ لَوْ كَانُوا يَعْلَمُونَ]

“And those who have migrated for the sake of Allah after they were oppressed, We shall give them a good place in the world and, of course, the reward of the Hereafter is much greater, if they only knew!” [Al-Nahl’: 41]

Inshallah we as an Ummah will be steadfast in resuming the correct status of the Muslimah and one protected under the Khialafah, and we will work tirelessly to achieve this.
