The Family is Protected by Allah's Rulings, Not by Organizing Forums

The International Family Forum was held in Istanbul on May 22-23 with the participation of 26 countries.

President Erdogan himself had stated that in recent years, the decline in the number of marriages, the increase in the number of divorces, the decline in birth rates and the aging of the population in Türkiye started turning into a significant threat and 2025 was declared as the year of the family.

In this context, President Erdogan, officials of the participating countries and academicians made evaluations on the subject at the International Family Forum hosted by the Ministry of Family and Social Services with the theme "Protecting and Strengthening the Family in a Globalizing World".

In summary, the following points were emphasized in the evaluations made.

''Since the 1970s, there have been significant changes in the institution of the family, the fertility rate has decreased, the age of marriage and the number of individuals living alone have increased, changes that would negatively affect the institution of the family have become a threat to societies in the long term, and many countries have sought policies to strengthen the institution of the family.

Today, changes in the global fertility rate and demographic structure have reached alarming levels.

Today, the young population in the country is decreasing while the elderly population is increasing. Many factors such as urbanization, employment, gender-neutralization, accelerate this change.

In addition, health services and income and expenditure imbalances put pressure on families.

Factors such as the proliferation of negative discourses targeting the importance of the institution of family and marriage, the increase in harmful digital trends that threaten the family, and the promotion of lifestyles dominated by materialistic values on the internet pose a serious risk to the institution of family and marriage.

There is a need to implement policies to overcome these problems, protect the family, raise healthy generations and maintain a strong population structure.

The International Family Forum aims to provide a platform for the protection and strengthening of the institution of family and marriage.''

Problems cannot be resolved in a healthy way with solution approaches based solely on results without correctly identifying the source and causes of the problem.

The real reason for the factors such as the loss of importance of the family institution, the increase in divorce rates, the decrease in birth rates and the aging of the population, which were mentioned in the forum, urbanization, employment, gender neutralization, the increase in negative discourses targeting the importance of the family and marriage institution due to economic reasons, the increase in publications threatening the family and harmful digital trends, the encouragement of a lifestyle dominated by materialist values ​​on the internet are the secular, democratic capitalist system implemented in Türkiye and the constitution and laws that form this system.

The states and administrators who do not protect their people, on the contrary, serve the disgusting projects of the liberal ideology that has influenced people all over the world and the global gang that has settled over humanity within the scope of its own world and human design on reducing the world population.

It is astonishing to govern people with a secular, democratic capitalist system, to complain about the serious social collapse that this system has produced, and to seek solutions to these problems caused by the system within the same system, in terms of showing the confusion, contradiction and paradoxical situation that the administrators are in.

If the constitution and laws that regulate the social relations are corrupt, then these constitutions and laws corrupt the society and lead to a serious social collapse in many ways.

This is what is observed all over the world and in Türkiye today.

Therefore, as long as these constitutions and laws, which are the main elements that corrupt the society, are not changed with the right constitution and laws, a proper society cannot emerge, and the society cannot be saved from the corruption that is being experienced.

In short, what the laws corrupt, the laws can correct and reform.

For this reason, the social collapse and corrupt social structure caused by the constitution and laws based on the secular, democratic, capitalist system can only and only be corrected and reformed if the constitution and laws based on Islam are re-enacted, then a clean and distinguished Islamic society can be built.

[اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَا يُغَيِّرُ مَا بِقَوْمٍ حَتّٰى يُغَيِّرُوا مَا بِاَنْفُسِهِمْ]

“Indeed, Allah would never change a people’s state ˹of favour˺ until they change their own state ˹of faith˺.”[Surah Ar-Ra'd: 11]

In short, family and society can only be protected by the laws of the Lord of the Worlds.
