American Approval is Not a Standard for Political Decision for the Islamic Ummah
News:
On 17th July 2025, Dawn News quoted from Reuters, “The White House on Thursday said that no visit of United States President Donald Trump was scheduled to Pakistan “at this time” after widespread reports of a trip. Earlier in the day, some local television news channels reported, citing sources, that Trump was expected to visit Pakistan in September. The news channels said that Trump would also visit India after arriving in Islamabad in September. The channels later withdrew their reports.” [Dawn]
Comment:
Pakistan’s military establishment believes that Republican administrations in America are generally sympathetic and welcoming towards Pakistan, as opposed to Democratic administrations which adopt a hostile policy. President Biden, as an example, did not meet any Pakistani leader. Neither did he make a phone call to any of Pakistan’s Prime Ministers Imran Khan or Shahbaz Sharif, during his four-year Presidency. This was taken as an affront in Pakistan.
The Pakistani army chief, Asim Munir, and other military commanders believe that the return of Trump to White House has opened an opportunity for Pakistan to reset its relationship with the US, which was effectively frozen during President Biden’s term, who had outsourced relationship management with Pakistan to the Pentagon. In this context, Asim Munir, has designed a strategy to appease and placate Trump, as it is now widely known amongst national leaders and heads of states that Trump likes leaders who praise him, submit to his wishes and help him earn goodwill with his electoral base.
To win favor with Trump, Asim Munir acceded to Trump’s request to capture and handover the alleged mastermind of the August 2021 Kabul Airport attack that killed thirteen American servicemen. Aware of Trump’s business interest in crypto-currency, Pakistan announced the formation of Pakistan Crypto Council, and the head of PCC, Bilal bin Saqib visited the White House and held a detailed meeting with Bo Hines, Executive Director of President Trump’s Council on Digital Assets. This was followed by Asim Munir’s visit to the White House and his meeting with Trump where he promised Pakistan’s support to the American plan for building a new Middle East.
Pakistan’s generals are also aware of America’s interest in rare earth metals and are inviting American investment in Pakistan’s mining sector. Pakistan also swiftly announced its intention to negotiate a settlement with the Trump administration and reach a trade deal after Trump announced 29% Tariff on Pakistan. And Pakistan formally recommended Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize for his “stellar statesmanship”, an announcement which caused widespread anger against Pakistan’s rulers. And now Pakistan’s rulers hope for Trumps’ visit to Pakistan and consider this a great achievement and honor for themselves.
It is indeed a great betrayal and a matter of shame and humiliation that Pakistan’s military rulers rush to serve America and its President Trump, in the hope of earning American goodwill. This policy of appeasement towards America by Pakistan’s rulers stands in sharp contrast to the public opinion in Pakistan. Muslims of Pakistan hate Trump and consider him and his predecessor Biden, as the butchers of Gaza. It came as a shock to the Muslims of Pakistan when they saw their army chief having lunch with the US President, while the US President was supervising and supporting the illegal Jewish entity’s attack on Iran.
This difference between Pakistan’s rulers who rush to serve American interests and the Muslims in Pakistan, who wish to fight America and her allies India and the illegal Jewish entity is clear for everyone to see. Pakistan is ripe for a revolution. The Muslims in Pakistan, like Muslims everywhere, were horrified at the massacre of Muslims in Gaza and blames the rulers of Muslims for failing to mobilize Muslim armies to liberate the Blessed Land of Palestine and help their Muslim brethren.
There is a deep desire in Pakistan to rid itself of rulers who are agents of America. The revolutions in Syria and Bangladesh have given Muslims in Pakistan hope that they too can get rid of their rulers. The only missing ingredient for a revolution in Pakistan against the rulers who are subservient to America is a decision by Pakistan’s powerful armed forces to act decisively in favor of the public opinion in Pakistan and embrace a new leadership and a new vision for Pakistan, free of American slavery and subservience to American World Order. Pakistan’s recent victory against India has given Pakistan’s armed forces confidence in their own abilities. The power of Pakistan’s armed forces is enough for building a new Middle East based on unity of all Muslim lands under the Second Khilafah Rashidah (rightly guided Caliphate). It is this vision towards which we invite all Muslims to work. Allah (swt) said,
“O believers! Respond to Allah and His Messenger when he calls you to that which gives you life.” [Al-Anfal:24].
