Uzbekistan After Twenty Years Brother Abdulmajid Gaziev was from the Prisons of the Oppressors!
Sa’d bin Abu Waqqas, said:
“I said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, which people are most severely tested?’ He (saw) said: ‘The Prophets, then the next best and the next best. A person is tested according to his religious commitment. If he is steadfast in his religious commitment, he will be tested more severely, and if he is frail in his religious commitment, his test will be according to his commitment. Trials will continue to afflict a person until they leave him walking on the earth with no sin on him.’”
Among those men who have affirmed their religion Islam is our brother, Abdulmajid Gaziev, in 1999 he became a member of Hizb ut Tahrir, and he began to call to Islam and seek to establish the Islamic state that Allah promised us in the Holy Qur’an and His Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him, gave good tidings to in the Sahih Ahadith.
But his longing to meet Allah and His Messenger and to Heaven did not convince him to call to Islam only in his country, so he traveled to Uzbekistan. There he called for the truth so vehemently that he angered the Uzbek security services. In that year, they accused him of criminal acts and sentenced him to twenty years in prison, according to Article 159 and the like. Our brother was imprisoned in several prisons, Chirchiq Prison, Zangi Ota Prison, Koson Soy Prison, Andijan Prison, among others. He was promised that he would be released if he asked for pardon, but he firmly steadfast on the truth and turned away from them.
After the end of his sentence, he was deported to his country, Kyrgyzstan, and the people of Qarasu gave him a hero’s welcome as befitting him, as he was the one who was unfairly imprisoned, not for his children or his money, but for his religion. Because he said that the heavens and the earth are for Allah, so we must rule by the Laws of Allah, that is, by the laws of Islam ...
A man who came to visit asked him, "Do you not grieve for the years that you spent in prison?" He said: “If I was told whether I would be satisfied with two hundred years of life instead of twenty years and had not been imprisoned? For I would say no, because these years will be a shade for me in the shade of the Throne on the day there is no shade but His Shade, bi’thinillah, and I ask Allah to save it for me as a reward from Him and to enter Heaven with His Mercy."
As long as such men exist among us, the enemies will not be able to extinguish the light of Allah with their mouths or by their strength ... and the last of our prayers, O Allah, we ask you to honor us with an Islamic State, a Khilafah Rashidah (rightly guided Caliphate) on the method of Prophethood by which Islam and its people are glorified and the Kufr and its followers are humiliated; and make us among those who work in Your obedience and the callers to Your Path and the spreaders of Your Call and the supporters of Your Deen, may Allah bless our master Muhammad and his family and grant them peace (Salallahu Alaihi wa Sallam).
