On Tuesday 18/01/2016, the General Secretariat for the National Dialogue began the preparation of a document of the outcomes of the Dialogue to be approved at the beginning of this February. It is the document that is intended to become the basis of the forthcoming Sudanese constitution.

After the death of Mullah Omar, the discussion on peace was stopped. But Afghanistan, China, Pakistan, and U.S. held a four way meeting on January 11, 2016 in Islamabad.
