On 10th and 12th of December 2013, two members of Hizb ut Tahrir, Rohullah, employee at the Directorate of Agriculture in Parwan Province, and Abdul Rafi, student at the university, have been arrested by the Intelligence Agency in Kapisa Province. It is not the first time that the agencies in Kapisa are arresting the members and supporters of Hizb ut Tahrir; rather they have been arresting our members and keeping them behind bars since long ago. Following is a list of arrested members;

1. Qari Jameel ‘Qami', teacher at Teachers Training College, detained on September 2012 and released on October 2013.

2. Mohsin Khan, teacher at Teachers Training College, detained on October 2012 and released on November 2013.

3. Ustad Safiullah, teacher at a Madrasah, detained on October 2013 and he is imprisoned for 13 months.
Similarly, there are other supporters like, Mujahid, Muhammad Isa, Maqsood and Ihsanullah, who are arrested and are imprisoned just because they call for Islam and expose the hypocrisy of the rulers and the evil plans of the crusaders. They are put behind bars based on verdicts of man-made laws that are against the rule of Allah (swt).

The Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir in Wilayah Afghanistan strongly condemns these shameful and cowardly acts of the Intelligence Agencies and wants to make the following points clear to the oppressive rulers and their mouthpiece media channels and as well as the noble Islamic Ummah:

1. The members and supporters of Hizb ut Tahrir mentioned above are those who responded to the call of Allah (swt) and his Messenger (saw), when they say (اَلَذِینَ اسْتَجَابُواْ لِلّهِ وَالرَّسُولِ) "Those [believers] who responded to Allah and the Messenger" [Ali-Imran: 173] and (قَالُوْا رَبُنَاْ الله ثُم اسْتَقَامُوْا) "Those who have said, "Our Lord is Allah " and then remained on a right course" [Fussilat: 30]. They are working for Khilafah "Caliphate" following the methodology of Muhammad (saw) to establish the Deen of Allah (swt), and are working among the Ummah through their political and intellectual struggle. This thought keeps them motivated and active even in dark prisons, in which they spend their days and nights.

2. The way invaders installed corrupt puppet rulers in place in the center, Kabul, exactly the same way they ensured that the provinces are ruled by the same dishonest and traitor rulers, whose sole obedience is not to their Lord Allah (swt) but to their colonialist masters. That is the reason we see that corruption and inaptness of the rulers is the talk of the time and writing on the wall, every house, street and market is aware of their huge corruption. Members of Hizb ut Tahrir and its supporters when further expose this reality as well as the corruption of Democracy, Capitalism, Democratic elections, free market, civil laws, human rights etc. to the people of Afghanistan and present the Islamic alternative (Khilafah "Caliphate"), that is where these traitor rulers and the corrupt ruling elite of Kapisa feel insecure and resort to their shameless approach of arresting and torturing the sincere sons of the Ummah.

3. The arrest of the sincere Dawah carriers and placing them behind bars by the corrupt ruling elite of Kapisa and the agencies is clearly against Islam, for which they will be reprimanded in this world and will receive severe punishment in the Hereafter. As Allah (swt) said in Quran;

(إِنَّ الَّذِینَ فَتَنُوا الْمُؤْمِنِینَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ ثُمَّ لَمْ یتُوبُوا فَلَهُمْ عَذَابُ جَهَنَّمَ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابُ الْحَرِیقِ)

"Those who persecute (or draw into temptation) the Believers, men and women, and do not turn in repentance, will have the Penalty of Hell: They will have the Penalty of the burning fire." [Al-Buruj: 10]

Hizb ut Tahrir is actively working in all corners of the world and is calling the Ummah to join its ranks for reestablishing Khilafah "Caliphate", following the method of Muhammad (saw). In order to achieve this grand objective, be it an issue of life and death, we will continue our struggle following the footsteps of our beloved Prophet (saw). The traitor rulers should take heed from their partners in other countries who utterly failed to stop the call for Khilafah "Caliphate" and firm resolve of Hizb ut Tahrir members. We will continue our struggle for Khilafah "Caliphate" till we achieve it and no one in the world can deviate us from this. The 60 years history of Hizb ut Tahrir is a clear testimony of this.
