During the ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Retreat in Yangon on 19th December, Malaysia has pledge its offer of humanitarian aid to help ease the suffering of Myanmar’s persecuted ethnic Rohingya.

On 14th December 2016 Tariq Fatemi, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs has said that Pakistan has paid a heavy price for US success in the region. “Better relations between Pakistan and US are a must for sorting out problems in the region. Pakistan has paid a whopping price for US success in the region,” he said this in an interview with the Washington Times.
