Secular Leadership Disparage Our Madrasas at this Lowest Level!

As we thank the Almighty Allah (swt) for significant decline of Covid -19 infection in the country, we are however distressed at Government’s decision of allowing bars and restaurants selling alcohol while brushing off the re-opening of Madrasas. Consequently, the issue of re-opening Madrasas has also not been included in the ongoing debate between parents, the Ministry of Education and the Health Ministry on re-opening schools.

A State Adds a Fear of Hunger to that of a Coronavirus

In a new measure to curb the global Coronavirus pandemic, the Government has totally shutdown two Muslim highly dominated commercial centers; Eastleigh in Nairobi and Old Town in Mombasa. The Government’s claims that the step was not meant to punish the residents of the two suburbs but aimed at protecting Kenyans from infection since the areas have recorded high cases of Covid-19.
