Press Release
Hizb ut Tahrir Does not Participate in a Dialogue not Based on Islam
(Translated)

On Saturday, 04 Dhul Qa'ida 1435, corresponding to 30 August 2014, "Ar-Ra'i Al-'Aam" Newspaper, Issue Number 6049, published on its front-page a news piece quoting  Mr. Fadl As-Sayid Issa Shuaib saying that Hizb ut Tahrir accepted to engage in the national dialogue. The following  came under the title: "Opposition parties agree to participate in the dialogue", "Fadl As-Sayid Issa Shuaib, Chairman of Truth Federal Party, revealed on an interview conducted with some of the leaders of political parties opposed to the dialogue, and said that he found them to have a desire and conviction to join the national dialogue, and Shuaib said to "Ar-Ra'i Al-'Aam" Newspaper yesterday that Hizb ut Tahrir has agreed in principle to engage in the dialogue, and they will view the road map in details.

Regarding these press statements, we in Hizb ut Tahrir/ Wilayah of Sudan wish to explain the following facts:

First: Our meeting with Mr. Fadl As-Sayid Issa Shuaib was not in his capacity as the representative of the dialogue mechanism to clarify the position of Hizb ut Tahrir regarding the dialogue, but as the chairman of the Truth Federal Party. And our meeting with him was as part of the Party's meetings with the political parties to demonstrate our vision about the issues of the Ummah, including the issues in Sudan. We issued a press release on August 24, 2014 CE to summarize what took place in the meeting, which was the following:

1. The dialogue must be based on Islam.

2. All participants in the dialogue must confirm to maintain the unity of the country.

3. The dialogue addresses the problems of the people and issues of living, services, the economy, health and education. And find practical solutions to these problems on the basis of Islam.

Second: Hizb ut Tahrir does not participate in any dialogue that is not based on Islam, the current dialogue is based on the idea of compromise and reconciliation according to the recommendations of the Kafir West, to achieve a foreign agenda; tearing the country apart, and removes Islam by the claims of the national consensus or national reconciliation, this idea is rejected.

Third: Hizb ut Tahrir is an ideological party working to resume the Islamic way of life through the establishment of the Khilafah "Caliphate" upon the method of the Prophethood. Because it is ideological it cannot accept compromises and reconciliation meetings in a matter that was settled by the Shari', namely the implementation of Shariah over the people through the Khilafah "Caliphate" system.

Fourth: When we asked our brother Chairman of the Truth Federal Party to provide us with a copy of the road map it did not mean in any of the languages our agreement in principle to participate in the dialogue, but it is to find out the details of what the dialogue is based on, so that Hizb ut Tahrir can show the Ummah and not the participants of the dialogue the Islamic opinion regarding these details.

In the final conclusion, we say:

The Shariah rulings do not accept a dialogue whereby human beings decide these laws. The ruling system in Islam is a specific system, the Khilafah "Caliphate" system, and the evidences for this are numerous, thorough, and clear. The Khilafah "Caliphate" implements and executes the Shariah laws, and maintains the unity of the country, and cut off the hands of the Kaffir colonizers; America, Britain, France and their tools, the African Union and others from interference in the affairs of Muslims.
