Purging and assassination operations targeting prominent personalities and leaderships from different groups and movements have become numerous. The latest of which was the assassination of Sheikh Abu Raatib the Ameer of the Ahraar Ash-Shaam movement in Homs at the hands of unknown assailants.

On Friday 25/12/2015, air strikes of the criminal Russians targeted a meeting place for the leaders of Jaysh Al Islam in Eastern Ghouta. According to the media, this led to the martyrdom of many of them and among those killed was the leader of Jaysh Al Islam Zahran Alloush.

Yesterday some of the media circulated news of ceasefire negotiations in East Ghouta and afterwards in other regions. Regardless of what it's called: ‘A truce or reconciliations or a ceasefire or...' in reality it represents nothing other than the implementation of De Mistura's project and objective to freeze the fighting within a certain region whilst putting pressure on another and so on, in order to prepare the situation to end…

Hizb ut Tahrir in the Wilayah of Syria mourn with great sadness and sorrow the death of Brother Muhammad Haafiz Sa'eedi (Abu Ammar) who was hit by a sniper's bullet in Al-Wa'r district in the city of Homs on 12/10/2015 and martyred as a result of this on 13/10/2015.
