Mourning a New Martyr in Uzbekistan Prisons

With deep sorrow and pain, we mourn to the Muslims of our country, especially to the Islamic Ummah at large, another member of Hizb ut Tahrir who joined the ranks of the Hizb's martyrs and joined the highest companion. Our brother, Nigmonov Ayub Khan Ismailovich, a member of Hizb ut Tahrir, was martyred on Saturday, December 2nd, in Prison No. 64/46 in the city of Nawai.

Participation of the Uzbek Government in the Arab-Islamic Summit Held in Riyadh

On November 11, the Arab-Islamic Summit was held in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, where the situation in the Gaza Strip was discussed. Uzbekistan’s Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov participated in the summit. In his speech, Aripov did not go beyond “calling on the parties to reach peace...”, which is not at all different from the treacherous approach adopted by the rulers of other countries.

After the Referendum, it is the Presidential Election’s Turn

According to Uzbekistan President’s decree, early elections for the head of state were scheduled for July 9, 2023. The decree states: “Based on Articles 110 and 128 of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Article 66 of the Electoral Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the election of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan is scheduled for July 9, 2023.”
