The rising of the nations is related to the principles which they live upon. So, if a nation understands and implements its principles well, and it perfects communicating these principles to the world and spreads its message; then this nation is meant to embark the roads to advancement and reaches the highest level of glory.

This year's Ramadan is very special for Muslims in Indonesia - the world's largest Muslim country - due to the hectic and colossal "public uproar and outcry". It resulted from the regime's stance with its various policies to silence the idea of the Khilafah (Caliphate) and Hizb ut Tahrir.

How was Ramadan under the Islamic state in Medina and how did Muslims live it then? And how were the preparations of the Prophet (saw) and companions after him for the blessed month? Were they like what we live today and what the existing countries are doing or is there a big difference?
