On Sunday 17th September, the aid agency Save the Children warned that Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh could die due to lack of food, shelter, and basic hygiene supplies. Over 410,000 Rohingya Muslims have fled Myanmar to Bangladesh since August 25th due to the genocide campaign being waged by the Burmese army.

The most important goal a Muslim aims to achieve in his or her life is the pleasure of Allah. On the 11th of September 2017, the official TV-station of Uzbekistan aired a program about a woman called Fatima Abdallah Junufah (age 57 years). This woman used to teach the Quran and its meaning (tafsir) to other women, and was banned from doing so.
