The UN (Useless Nations): Receives Praise From Pakistan

Comment:
The observance of UN (United Nations) Day and the holding of various events in major Pakistani cities like Karachi and Islamabad testify to the fact that, regardless of whether or not Pakistan benefits from the UN’s performance, the Government still remains deferential to its very existence. Earlier this month, the UN Secretary-General visited Pakistan and met with the country’s top leadership, including Field Marshal Asim Munir and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. Both figures expressed full confidence in the UN, and in return, received praise from the Secretary-General for their own contributions.
Pakistan’s early engagement with the UN began in 1948 during the Kashmir conflict, when the UN called for a fair plebiscite under its supervision to allow the people of Kashmir to decide their future. However, the plebiscite was never held, and India strengthened its control over the region. The conflict has continued for decades, resulting in the loss of thousands of lives. Again in 1971 Pakistan experienced the loss of East Pakistan when the UN failed to solve the conflict, furthermore, the UNs involvement in Pakistan during the war on terror has been putting pressure on Pakistan to align its domestic laws with Western standards of counter-terrorism, an example of this new standard was widely seen in the forced displacements of thousands of Afghani immigrants from Pakistan.
Pakistan has been one of the largest contributors to UN peacekeeping missions, sending over 200,000 troops and police officers to more than 40 missions worldwide۔ It is important to understand here that the UN has never been of any use to Pakistan; rather, it has unsparingly exploited Pakistan’s armed forces and resources to serve its own objectives. Furthermore, as long as Pakistani governments continue to dance to the tune of their foreign masters, they will persist in working for the institutions established by those very masters.
Pakistan is one of the largest contributors to UN peacekeeping missions, and despite its significant role in UN peacekeeping, Pakistan continues to face internal unrest and external threats. The Western powers rely on troops from developing countries like Pakistan to manage conflicts, reducing risks to their own citizens while protecting their global economic interests.
The people of Pakistan are beset by all manner of problems, and the daily escalation of these issues demonstrates that whatever system is being proposed as a solution is fundamentally flawed. The UN and its affiliated agencies have failed completely on a global scale; their continued existence is now merely a potent deception, one that must be cast aside to find a path toward salvation. On the international stage, the true nature of the UN has been laid bare in regions such as Palestine, Sudan, and Yemen. If, despite witnessing all this, your rulers continue to insist that the UN is their savior, then understand this: the UN is no savior, but your rulers have most certainly sold you out. The time has come to stop offering yourselves up to the very same hole from which you have already been bitten time and again. For Muslims, unity is a collective endeavor that transforms them into an impenetrable, solid wall against the enemy; in contrast, institutions like the United Nations are founded upon the mutual interests and survival of the kuffar (disbelievers). For the Muslim Ummah, a Khilafah (Caliphate) established on the method of the Prophethood would serve as a unifying bond. Its foremost responsibility would be to safeguard the interests of the Ummah and ensure that no foreign organisation exploits Muslim lands, resources, or people.
Allah (swt) says in Holy Quran:
“Let not the believers take the disbelievers as Auliya (supporters, helpers, etc.) instead of the believers, and whoever does that will never be helped by Allah in any way, except if you indeed fear a danger from them. And Allah warns you against Himself (His Punishment), and to Allah is the final return.” [TMQ Aal-i-Imran: 28].
