Inshallah the members of Hizb ut Tahrir/ The Netherlands will hold a Khilafah "Caliphate" Conference titled: "This is the Time for Khilafah "Caliphate"" in Amsterdam on Sunday, 05 Jumada I 1434 AH, 14 March 2013. Guest speakers will include Brother Osman Bakhach, Director of the Central Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir, and Brother Okay Pala (Abu Zain), representative of the Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir/ The Netherlands.

Report on the Khilafah "Caliphate" Conference in Amsterdam

On Sunday, 05 Jumada I 1434 AH, corresponding to 17 March 2013, Hizb ut Tahrir/ Netherlands organized an annual conference in Amsterdam on the 89th calendar year remembrance of the fall of the Khilafah "Caliphate" state, titled, "This is the time for Khilafah "Caliphate"." There was a heavy and distinctive presence from the sisters, Barak Allahu Feehun.

Muslims from around the globe, from more than forty countries, participated in this conference gathering from all different races and ethnicities, colors and tongues, their dawah is one, and their aim is one, and chants are one. Their chants boomed throughout the conference hall with Takbeers and the call for the return of the Khilafah "Caliphate".

After the opening speech, holy verses were read from the Quran al-Kareem, followed by two short speeches in Dutch. In the first talk, one of the distinct Shabab spoke about the Khilafah "Caliphate" and how to work for it. The second Shab, May Allah reward him greatly, spoke of the Khilafah "Caliphate"'s system and its superiority over all other man-made systems in the world.

Afterwards, the media representative of Hizb ut Tahrir in the Netherlands, Brother Okay Pala (Abu Zain) delivered a speech that focused on answering four questions:

1. Is it possible for the Khilafah "Caliphate" to be established now?

2. How will Islam address the economic problem currently?

3. How will the Khilafah "Caliphate" be established while Muslims are far from Islam?

4. How will Islam handle the interest-based economic system?

Afterwards, the panel was open to questions and interaction from the three speeches. After a short break and prayer, the Director of Central Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir Engineer Osman Bakhach gave his speech in English entitled: "The Time has come to establish Khilafah "Caliphate"."

The conference concluded with Duaa and chants along with Takbeers in a powerful atmosphere of great Imaan. And our final Duaa wa Alhamdulillah.
