Afghanistan-Pakistan Tension Can Only Be Resolved Upon Re-Establishment of Khilafah!
(Translated)
Once again, in these days, border tensions and political rift have escalated between Afghanistan and Pakistan. Pakistan’s Interior Minister Sarafraz Bugti recently said that all refugees need to leave the country by the end of November, otherwise they shall be forcefully expelled. He added that around 1.7 million Afghan nationals do not possess any legal documents to reside in Pakistan. There are also reports of a border clash in the Spin Boldak gate between the forces of the Islamic Emirate and Pakistani border troops in which two Pakistani nationals including a 12-year-old boy are killed with one injured. Besides, three Afghan nationals are reported to have been injured, including two children.
Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Afghanistan condemns such clashes and such stances, stating the following:
1. In addition to having roots in secular belief, Nationalism is a modern manifestation of ‘Jahilliya’. Therefore, whoever shape their ideology and policies on the basis of nation-state with their interests based on nationalism, if happen to kill Muslims or get killed in the path of defending their so called nation-state and national borders, has committed Haram. On this basis, both the Pakistani government’s stance on Afghan refugees as well as the clashes on border between the two countries are non-Islamic according to the Sharia.
Jubair bin Mut’im reported the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) as saying: «لَیْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ دَعَا إِلَى عَصَبِیَّةٍ وَلَیْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ قَاتَلَ عَلَى عَصَبِیَّةٍ وَلَیْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ مَاتَ عَلَى عَصَبِیَّةٍ»“he who summons others to party-spirit [national and ethnic prejudice] does not belong to us; and he who kills upholding party spirit [national borders and interests] does not belong to us and he who dies upholding party spirit [nation state, national borders] does not belong to us.” (Sunan Abu Dawud, Hadith # 5121)
2. The traitor rulers of Pakistan continue their treason against Muslims. By following the American policies, they have committed treason towards people of Pakistan as well as all Muslims. The recent stance taken by the Pakistani government is also rooted in the treason and personal concerns of the ruling elite. On the other hand, the stance taken by the government officials in Afghanistan is also not in accordance with Sharia and not much different from stances of the previous Republic regime. As Afghanistan’s Minister of Defense said in one part of his speech, “We hope that international organizations, the UN and the countries that consider themselves advocates of Human Rights, should come forward and stop Pakistan from this course of action.” Expecting any good from international organizations is like expecting guidance from Satan. These very international organizations were the ones that divided the Muslim world based on national borders, appointed traitor rulers over them to ensure their evil policies. So how one could expect any good from them?! On the other hand, these organizations have been the ones trying to show a violent and humiliated face of the Islamic Emirate in Afghanistan. For instance, Nadia Rahman, Amnesty International’s Interim Deputy Regional Director for research in South Asia has said, “Afghans in Pakistan are fleeing persecution by the Taliban…”
3. Pakistan is a bitter lesson for those who trust in friendship and closeness with the United States. Despite all their efforts in favor of US interests, the Government and Army of Pakistan are in a critical stage as the US recently favored India over Pakistan. It is based on such policy that the US aims for Pakistan to be busy with its Western borders and thus is preempted from focusing on cause of Kashmir [its eastern borders], so that India works its way smoothly towards progress and rise as a potential power against China.
Based on this policy, on one hand, the US wants continuation of regular border clashes between Afghanistan and Pakistan; and on the other, it wants India to become a regional hegemon. We are talking about the same India in which “Hindutva” ideology influences all the policies based on which Muslims are restricted, tortured, raped, and killed with the Masjids being demolished and our Muslim sisters humiliated simply because of wearing Hijab… The same India dreams of leading this region. In the G20 meeting this year, Modi mentioned the name of India as “Bharat” which is the historic name of India supposedly expanding from Myanmar to Afghanistan in the sense of an empire as well as the area of Hindu faith. Border clashes between Afghanistan and Pakistan pave the way for such US-India polices.
Consequently, as far as the current national borders remain in its entirety, Muslims will remain divided. If the government’s policies are based on nation-state and national interest, the traitor rulers continue to rule over them with US policies controlling the region… Thus, the region shall not witness any change. Change will only happen when the map of the region is modified on the basis of Islam and this would happen only with the establishment of the Khilafah Rashidah (rightly guided Caliphate) State - one that will liberate Muslims from the prescribed Western nation-state order and their prevailing non-Islamic systems. This is what Islam calls for and in the call of Islam, there is prosperity in this world and in the Hereafter.
[وَعْدَ اللهِ لَا یُخْلِفُ اللهُ وَعْدَهُ وَلَكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا یَعْلَمُونَ]
“˹This is˺ the promise of Allah. ˹And˺ Allah never fails in His promise. But most people do not know.” [Quran 30:6]
