The United Nations Appoints Volcker as Head of the UNITAMS Mission to Support the Transition in Sudan While the Ummah Wants to Appoint a Caliph for the Muslims
(Translated)

The Secretary-General of the United Nations, António Guterres, appointed the German, Volker Perthes, as the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General and the head of the United Nations Integrated Transition Support Mission in Sudan (UNITAMS). (SUNA, 8/1/2021).

The Transitional Government, through its Prime Minister Hamdok, demanded the intervention of the United Nations forces, in a letter he sent to the Secretary-General of the United Nations at the end of January 2020. Al-Quds Al-Arabi Newspaper website stated on 9/2/2020: “The Sudanese Prime Minister, Abdalla Hamdok, requested from the UN Security Council authorization to establish a special political mission from the United Nations under Chapter VI, "it is stated in the letter: "The mandate of the prospective mission should include the entire territory of Sudan!" Hamdok called on the United Nations to "provide technical support in constitution-making, legal and judicial reform, reform of the civil service and the security sector," and called for "achieving reconciliation between local communities, achieving peace gains, transitional justice, protection of civilians, and building the capabilities of the national police force, in ways including Deployment of United Nations and African Union Police Advisors."

This appointment of the German Volcker, came after previous candidates were rejected; the first was Nicholas Haysom, the South African, who was rejected by Prime Minister Hamdok, and the second was Jean-Christophe Billiard of France, who was also rejected by the military component in the Transitional Government. This refusal confirms that every party of the government wants the head of the mission to be on his side, or rather, on the side of their masters whom they serve. Here the American-European disagreement appears clearly. Although the one who was recently selected appears to be from Europe (German), however America’s satisfaction with him is likely to be not threatening to its interests, especially since he worked at the American University of Beirut from 1991 to 1993), and worked as assistant to the international envoy to Syria, Staffan de Mistura, and there is no doubt that the common interest of the two poles of the international conflict; America and Britain are the man’s (Volker) hostility to Islam, and his rejection of the term ‘Arab Spring’, and his claim that Islam will not reach power in the countries of the Arab Spring, but rather will support the Western capitalist model!!

It is a shame that our country, Sudan, is a setting of international conspiracies, and that our rulers are mere puppets and toys that the kaffir West manipulates for its own benefit.

We in Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah of Sudan reject this blatant interference in the affairs of our country, and placing it under international mandate. We are mobilizing the energies of the Muslim people of Sudan to restore the Khilafah (Caliphate) system, to stop these puppet rulers, to change them, and to bring Islam to power.
