On Thursday, 27/11/2025, Houthi security forces arrested Saddam Ali Qa’id al-Mukirdi, 28 years old, from the district of Ṣabr al-Mawadim in Taiz Governorate under Houthi control in central Yemen. This arrest is the second, following the arrest of brothers Osama and Mohammad Mas’ad Al-Wurafi in Ibb Governorate on 21/11/2025,

On 15/10/2025, the Governor of Aden Central Bank, Ahmed Al-Maabqi, met in Washington, D.C., with the head of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) mission to Yemen, Esther Pérez Ruiz, and the IMF representative, Mohamed Maait, accompanied by Deputy Minister of Finance Hani Wahab and Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance Abdul Qader Amin.
